Sometimes, we make Bible study far too complicated – we act as if a person needs an entire theological library, computerized concordances, a working knowledge of the Greek and Hebrew, and a seminary degree just to understand the Scriptures. There are times when specialized knowledge helps, to be sure. But for the most part, studying God’s Word is as simple as reading it and asking questions of the text.
