We have begun a new series of lessons in adult Sunday school. In the series, we are walking through each article in our Statement of Faith (SOF). Our church’s Statement of Faith is identical to that of our denomination. The Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), the association we are part of, recently created a curriculum around the shared beliefs of EFCA churches. They created this resource in cooperation with the faculty of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS), which is our association’s seminary. Both the EFCA and TEDS share the same Statement of Faith. These resources include a study guide covering all ten articles of the SOF, as well as individual interviews with faculty at TEDS, each addressing an article which allows each professor to bring their education and wisdom to bear in their given field of theological study.
We want to make those EFCA/TEDS resources available to everyone. The following link will take you to the study guide and the videos. We encourage you, should you have interest, to explore these resources as you make time to do so.
