Listening to Acts

One of my favorite “younger” pastors to listen to and learn from is Kevin DeYoung. I recently linked to a book that he had published on seeing the Book of Acts visually. In the same vein of making high quality resources on Acts available as we preach though the book, I’d recommend that you listen to his sermons from the Book of Acts as well. I’ve been helped by them and I trust you will be also.

This seems like an opportune time to put a plug in for listening to quality sermons throughout the week – I’ve found it to be a good practice personally, and I’d encourage you to pay attention and listen on Sunday mornings here at FEFC (of course!) but also to consider other faithful pastors. In addition to DeYoung, Capitol Hill Baptist Church is well known for their preaching, particularly Mark Dever. David Helm of Holy Trinity Church in Chicago has been instrumental in the Charles Simeon Trust, which continues to help a lot of young guys like me learn how to preach what the Scriptures say. I’ve also been especially helped by Alistair Begg, of Parkside Church.

We are a member church of the Evangelical Free Church of America.
