Hebrews 12:1-17 Run the Race 12/31/2023

Isaiah 9:1-7 King and Kingdom 12/24/2023
Hope for God’s people. Joy and peace come on account of Jesus. It’s hope in God’s promises, belief in the coming (and now, arrived and someday returning) Messiah which will usher in this kind of joy, his kingdom characterized by this kind of peace. Here we see how deadly turning from Christ is: to know about Jesus and then to reject him is to reject the only one who can save your soul. Don’t turn from Christ!

Christ’s covenant is forever enough. Unlike the Old Testament sacrifices – and unlike the practices of any other faith – Christ’s one sacrifice is enough for everyone who trusts in him, forever.
